Rachel Tsimbidis, LCSW-C

Hi, I'm Rachel.
I’m a licensed therapist who helps adults untangle anxiety, improve relationships, and reconnect with their sense of self. My clients often come in feeling overwhelmed, unsure how to speak up for their needs, or stuck in patterns that leave them second-guessing themselves.

I offer a space that’s steady, compassionate, and real—where you don’t have to have the perfect words or a clear plan. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, and together we’ll work to create more ease, clarity, and connection in your life.
My Approach
I help clients make lasting changes by understanding what’s really going on beneath the surface—not just managing symptoms, but building a deeper connection to themselves.

I primarily draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), a model that helps us explore the different parts of you, especially those that feel anxious, self-critical, or trapped in roles that no longer serve you. By getting to know these parts with curiosity and care, we can create more space for calm, clarity, and confidence. This approach can be especially powerful in healing the effects of trauma, as we gently reconnect with the parts of you that have been carrying pain for a long time.

I also incorporate practical tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support emotional regulation, build coping skills, and prioritize what's most important to you.

Our work together is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique goals and needs.
